HBO, I Own You

Well, we finally got HBO. I think it may be the first time in my life that HBO comes streaming to my house for more than a long weekend of You-Must-Buy-Us! The best part? It's actually going to save us $10 a month--we got rid of Starz--to watch True Blood and Game of Thrones.

Score!

I thought I would be clever and have a Game of Thrones marathon, then start the new season... But we aren't caught up on True Blood, yet, and the OnDemand availability for the first 4 episodes of Season 3 ends tomorrow. So, we're catching up on True Blood, now.

I'm not sure, but I think this might be the most depressing post I have ever written...

  1. I need them to put them ALL up (True Blood) because I've never seen any of them. The shows seem to be pretty divergent from the books so I'll be lost.

Man I hate watching shows while they're running, lol. I WANT IT ALL NOW ARRRGH. :D

We got a cheaper bill when we got HBO too, lol. :)

  2. I know what you mean! It's so sad when you "catch" up by having giant marathons of a show, only to come to a screeching halt and have to wait a whole week. Do you gave HBO go? My cousin was talking about it yesterday and it sounded like they may have them all up... But I didn't ask about them, specifically.

  3. Yup yup. That's why I've not put forth much effort to get caught up on Once Upon a Time. I love the show, but I'd rather be able to watch the whole season instead of get stuck and have to wait. Although that IS the sort of show that'll have a season cliffhanger anyway... Oh well. LOL.

I think HBOGO is included with our subscription? I dunno ... I haven't tried it yet. But I will have to check it out. :)

    1. They say on the commercials it's freewth the subscription... But I have no idea what I would have to do to "prove" I have one of those.

I LOVE Once Upon a Time. And yes, it's sadly one of those I get pissed off about because I have to wait until next week.... Although, they also do this really dumb thing where NOTHING IS IN ORDER!

    2. Yeah, same here - no idea who to prove you're a subscriber.
